Alfredo Izmajtovich
CEO & President

With more than two decades of professional experience, Alfredo is an acknowledged leader, advocate and authority on developing large-scale affordable housing. He boasts extensive knowledge managing the underwriting of housing programs, including but not limited to low-income housing tax credits, state and federal housing programs and various private programs. His background includes manager of the Housing Division for the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission from 1991 to 2001, where he created the instrumental housing program in the City of Industry that became a key source of regional gap financing. From 2001 to 2011, Alfredo was vice president of acquisitions for the National Community Renaissance, where he was directly responsible for new development of more than 2,000 units. As a respected industry expert, Alfredo has presented at forums and seminars for the Community Redevelopment Association, the Southern California Association of Nonprofit Housing - the region's trade and advocacy organization - and other industry groups. He has been a guest lecturer at UCLA, USC and other institutions, and has been a technical trainer in affordable housing for many years. Alfredo is a board member of SCANPH and serves on the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Task Force. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Housing & Economic Development for the Cesar Chavez Foundation. 

Alfredo earned a Bachelor of Art's Degree in Economics with an emphasis in applied math from UCLA, a Masters of Arts Degree in Urban Planning from UCLA's Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning, and his M.B.A. degree from the prestigious Anderson School of Management at UCLA.

Richard K. Rollins 
Vice President

Richard joined the Cesar Chavez Foundation in 2012 and brought with him over twenty-seven years of diverse construction experience. With seven years as a construction manager/owner's representative, nine years as a construction superintendent and eleven years in the trades, Richard brings strong relationships built on respect, integrity and professionalism to every project undertaken by the Foundation. His expert knowledge encompasses technical oversight of architectural design, entitlements/permits, bidding, the contracting process and project estimates. Over the past sixteen years, Richard has been responsible for approximately $237 million worth of construction that have culminated in many expertly completed projects. Prior to joining the Foundation, Richard managed the construction of 16 new major multifamily housing projects worth $166 million for National Community Renaissance over a seven-year period.

Paul Ellias
SR. Construction Manager

Beginning his career in 1988, Paul brings more than 33 years of construction management experience to our Senior Management team.  Joining Greenfield in October of 2020, Paul has brought his hands-on approach to multiple GFC active projects and future projects. 
In his career spanning more than 3 decades, Paul’s has managed the construction of a wide variety of structure types.  With a focus of multi-family projects, he has successfully completed in excess of two thousand units throughout California.  His experience involves multiple concrete podium projects, steel framed structures with cast in place concrete decks, structural CMU, SpanCrete, and slab on grade wood framed.  Having built from San Diego to Fresno to the Coachella Valley and all points in between, Paul’s industry recognition and subcontractor relationship directory is unsurpassed in the region.
 His expertise managing ground up construction of Market Rate as well as subsidized multifamily projects in a wide variety of site conditions and with a vast array of agencies make Paul an ideal fit to advance the goals and mission of Greenfield Construction.

Alec Eaton
Construction Superintendent

Alec Eaton joined the Greenfield Construction team in 2015. Mr. Eaton spent over 4 years working with Ellias Construction; where he began as a laborer and moved up the ranks to Assistant Superintendent. Mr. Eaton has worked on numerous new construction projects, as well as rehabilitation projects. He is well versed in daily tasks such as managing trades, knowledge of proper safety methods on site, experience in plan reading, operating multiple hand tools and heavy machinery/equipment. He also specializes in framing, grading and concrete work. Mr. Eaton's varying experience makes him an important addition to our team.

Roselle Capiral
Construction Manager

Roselle joined Greenfield Construction as a Project Engineer in early 2019 and currently as a Construction Manager bringing extensive experience in the management and administration of complex construction projects. She was an essential member of the construction management team in completing the Ybarra Village project (Los Angeles CA), with specific responsibilities for complex monthly pay draw applications, assisting with quality control, scheduling/sequencing of the trades, ADA compliance, and direct coordination in obtaining final inspections and the Certificate of Occupancy. Currently Roselle is assigned to Greenfield’s El Monte Veteran/Family Housing complex (El Monte CA) scheduled for completion late 2021 and El Monte Tyler Valley scheduled for completion late 2022.
Prior to joining Greenfield Construction, Roselle was a Project Administrator for a fire sprinkler contractor and was involved in various projects, including but not limited to Downtown Disney in Anaheim, California and Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California. She then transferred to the position of Construction Project Accountant and has in-depth knowledge of AIA G702/G703, contract administration, lien releases and funding procedure.
Roselle was born in the Philippines and is bilingual in Tagalog. She graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Management. She received her Master of Business Administration from Keller Management University. Lastly, she received her Certification in Project Management from Cornell University.
Her favorite pass time is watching the best NFL team, Green Bay Packers.

Catalina Murillo
Construction Manager
​Catalina joined Greenfield Construction in 2020 in the position of Construction Manager. In that role, her direct responsibility is to ensure the assigned projects are completed within the budget, completed in a timely manner and with the highest degree of quality and safety. Her specific duties include assisting in formulating the construction budget, preparing the scopes-of-work for the various trades, obtaining and negotiating subcontracts, identifying potential value-engineering options with subcontractors and suppliers, assisting with the construction scheduling and sequencing in conjunction with other team members.
Before joining Greenfield, Catalina spent over 8 years working in property management where she began as an onsite property manager. She later was promoted to Operations Analyst where she also assisted as Interim Regional Supervisor for multiple states. As an operations analyst she negotiated contracts and oversaw onsite projects in support of the Director of Property Management. Additionally, Catalina created and managed property budgets of $40 million. More recently Catalina has supported in the completion of final projects at Park at Cliff Creek Apartments and Timbers Apartments. Catalina’s experience working in property management and the military has allowed her to advance and understand the construction process and makes her a valuable addition to our team.
When not working onsite, Catalina is a 9-year US Army Reservist on a HAZMAT response team. Spring 2022 Catalina is expected to graduate from California State University of Poly Pomona with her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Contractual Management.

Cody Shahan
Construction Manager
​Cody joined Greenfield Construction in 2019 in the position of Construction Manager. In that role, his direct responsibility is to ensure the assigned projects are completed within the budget, completed in a timely manner and with the highest degree of quality and safety. His specific duties include assisting in formulating the construction budget, preparing the scopes-of-work for the various trades, obtaining and negotiating subcontracts, identifying potential value-engineering options with subcontractors and suppliers, assisting with the construction scheduling and sequencing in conjunction with other team members. Before joining Greenfield, Cody spent over 14 years working in the construction field where he began as a laborer building custom homes and finishing concrete. He later was promoted from skilled laborer to Superintendent. As Superintendent, he would collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and others to determine project needs and set performance goals and deadlines. Cody then moved into the office as a Project Engineer, he spent 2 years working in this position and some of his daily tasks as a Project Engineer were to monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, ensure performance standards and specifications. He would interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field. More recently, Cody has worked on new-construction projects (multi-family and affordable housing, as well as rehabilitation and renovation) totaling over $60 million overseeing and directing operations from conception to completion. Cody understands the importance of establishing strong relationships and has brought many of those relationships over to Greenfield’s El Monte project. Cody’s experience working in the construction industry has allowed him to gain knowledge and understanding of the construction process and makes him a valuable addition to our team. Cody lives in Anaheim, CA. with his wife Ashlie and 2 dogs Jaxon and Kegga.

Rigo Espinoza
Superintendent

​I have been with Greenfield Construction for 3 ½ years, Currently I am an assistant superintendent. I have had 2 years experience as a construction laborer. I am highly motivated to produce safe quality work as well as working effectively without supervision and maintaining a safe work area. I have been involved with 2 rehab projects as well as 2 new construction projects. I have had extensive training in operating construction equipment and machinery. I have strong communication skills and a very dedicated employee.

Grady Eaton
Asst. Superintendent

​Grady Eaton joined Greenfield Construction in 2019 in the position of Assistant Superintendent initially assigned to the completion of large multi-family type projects in Fresno (Kings Canyon), Los Angeles (Ybarra Village) CA, and Austin (Timbers) TX. In working with the Project Superintendent, Project Engineer and other team members, his duties entailed assisting with scheduling, quality control, preparing and submitting Request for Information (RFI’s), direct interaction with the various trades to ensure compliance with all field matters including, quality control, safety, building code and ADA compliance.
Grady has excellent communication and organizational skills.
Prior to Greenfield, Grady worked for other construction firms on similar projects acquiring valuable knowledge and experience. He is a qualified operator of a multitude of machinery and equipment, together with his proficiency as a carpenter.

Terry Jantz
Contract Administrator

Terry Jantz started with Greenfield Construction in 2018 as our Contracts Administrator and has over 20 years of senior level Project Management experience as well as an extensive background in design, construction and finance. Prior to joining Greenfield Construction, Terry was the Contracts Manager/Administrator and Senior Project Coordinator for a design and construction company while she managed her own consulting firm. Terry is in charge of all subcontractor contracts at Greenfield Construction. She also manages the assembly of all the construction pay draws and coordinates the bonding process for all construction related activities and the capital improvement projects. In addition, Terry is responsible for the insurance and licensing verification and prevailing wage compliance monitoring. She provides team support and a working knowledge of construction terms, contracts, change orders, and overall construction environment. Terry’s education major was Business Administration and Accounting.

Teresa Vega
Project Manager

​Teresa Vega joined the Greenfield team in 2016 after spending a year as the Los Angeles Office Manager. Her roles within the Construction team include construction administration, project budgeting, team coordination, and daily project progress monitoring and recording. Over the past four years, Teresa has assisted in the planning and implementation of three rehabilitation projects and facilitated two new construction projects. Ms. Vega has extensive experience in Office Management and the administration and coordination of Monthly Operating Reports (MOR), as well as many years of experience in sales support and customer service. These skills allow her to navigate and manage multiple projects while she coordinates the activities of all levels of personnel. Her computer software proficiency extends from accounting software and data management and consolidation to scheduling for construction projects. Teresa’s skills have been vital to the continuing success of the Greenfield team and will be invaluable as the company continues to grow. 
Martha Solis
Project Accountant

​I am happy to be a part of Greenfield Constructions team for over a year now. I’m proud of the fact that I have served in a continual project accountant and any additional assistant if needed within the company to ensure a streamlined workflow and positive growth. I have an adaptable personality and I truly enjoy working in collaborative environments where I can learn and grow.
As a vision-driven Accounting and HR Administration professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and 17 years of experience working in support roles within the construction and insurance industries, I’m at my best using my strong needs assessment aptitude and ability to work well under pressure to maintain exceptional levels as a project accountant and improve the bottom line.
